Billy Joel Want You To Share This To Stop The Extermination Of Elephants.

A long time ago, there was millions of elephants in Africa and Asia. But during the 20th century the amount of elephants have hugely diminished. Mostly because of the massive trade of elephant ivory, according to WWF. Elephants in Africa have decreased with 60 percent since 1978. Every day, 96 elephants are killed in Africa – because of the ivory. If that continues the elephants can be extinguished in 20 years. The world famous singer and songwriter Billy Joel care about the elephants and is now taking action. He says that music never can be an accused to kill an entire species. He wrote this on his blog: “To whom it may concern: I wholeheartedly support the ivory sales ban bill pending in New York State. I am a piano player. And I realize that ivory piano keys are preferred by some pianists. But a preference for ivory keys does not justify the slaughter of 96 elephants every day. There are other materials which can be substituted for piano keys. But magnificent creatures like these can never be replaced. Music must never be used as an excuse to destroy an endangered species. Music should be a celebration of life – not an instrument of death.”   Check out the video below, where Billy Joel take a stand and care about the magnificent and endangered creature.
