Losing someone close to you is perhaps man's greatest tragedy. It takes time to get through the grief and the pain and get your life together again - and that is precisely what Celine Dion sings about in her latest heartbreaking single "Recovering".
The song, written by artist Pink, was performed for the first time by Céline Dion at the "Stand Up To Cancer" gala a few days ago. Dion chose to dedicate the song to her late husband René Angélil who passed away from cancer earlier this year.
"I miss René every day, and the loss will now be a part of my life," Céline says before starting her emotional and powerful performance.
Celine Dion has also lost both her father and brother to cancer. During the performance, pictures of her three beloved family members flash on the screen behind her - and when she turns around and sees them at the end of her performance, she can't hold back the tears.
This brought tears to my eyes. Please share Céline's beautiful tribute with your friends to also give them the chance to enjoy it.
