Kids Song To Their Teacher With Cancer Is Going Viral. At 0:50 I Understood Why.

48-year-old Adriana Lopez is a beloved and appreciated teacher at Staten Island’s Public School 22. Some months ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. But despite painful chemotherapy, this teacher’s love and dedication to her fourth-grade class never weakened.   The school wanted to give something in return to support her and show their appreciation. They surprised her with the school choir singing “I’m Gonna Love You Through It”, a cancer survivor anthem by Martina McBride. Choir director Gregg Breinberg explained that Adriana has always been a teacher who was first to arrive and last to leave – proving her devotion to her kids. This video received over one million views in two days. It’s not that hard to understand. At 0:50, they sing, “I know that you’re afraid and I am too, but you’ll never be alone, I promise you”. This one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
