When you’re afraid and feeling insecure, it’s always nice to have a friend to comfort and soothe you.
And for animals at an animal shelter in Baltimore, Maryland, they’re lucky to have a vet named Dennis Moses there for them. The kindhearted vet goes above and beyond to make them feel comfortable.
Dennis’ loving care is on full display in a heartwarming clip that has been taking the Internet by storm recently. Check it out below:
In this clip, we meet a dog named Meesha. Last year, she was being taken care of by BARCS Animal Shelter in Baltimore, Maryland. And although she was in good hands, she didn’t know it at first and was feeling a bit nervous.
To make matters worse, Meesha had just been spayed. And when her anesthesia wore off, Meesha started feeling anything but good. She didn’t know where she was, she was dizzy, and couldn’t help but let out a heartbreaking whimper.
Fortunately, veterinarian Dennis Moses was on hand. When he heard the crying pup, he gently scooped her up into his arms, carried her out to a quiet hallway, and rocked her and comforted with kisses and kind words.
As you’ll see, Dennis stops at nothing to care for the little patients at BARCS Animal Shelter. After assisting in surgery, he focuses on making all of the dogs, cats, and other animals feel comfortable by letting them know that he’s there for them.
Luckily enough, another vet managed to catch Dennis comforting Meesha after her surgery about a year ago. The heartwarming moment immediately took off online—and it’s not hard to understand why.
A few days after the video was uploaded, Meesha was adopted into a loving home where she gets lots of love and care.
Veterinarians don’t always get the attention they deserve despite the wonderful work they do for our animals.
