She Takes A Picture Of The Sky In The Middle Of A Memorial. Then She Discovers Something Mesmerizing.

When a man last weekend stepped into the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida and shot and killed 49 people, it was a tragedy that shook the world.

Why is life so brutal and unfair, what’s the meaning, and why did this happen? We often seek answers or signs from the divine – and sometimes it can be small things that give a meaning and comfort in situations that otherwise seem impossible to deal with.

Here’s a perfect example. During a memorial ceremony held recently to honor the victims of the mass shooting, a flock of birds suddenly passed by above. Sara Ozim, a woman attending the memorial service, looked up and decided to snap a shot of the magnificent birds. But when she looked closely at the photograph afterwards, she discovered something incredible.

While the names of the 49 victims were read out to silence and tears were running, a large flock of birds passed in the sky. It caught Sarah’s attention and she decided to snap a shot of the birds in the sky.

When Sarah later counted the birds in the picture, there were 49 of them – the exact same number as the Orlando victims.

“I then showed everyone around me and had them count. We were all stunned,” she told CNN.

The birds provided great solace from the grief felt after this terrible deed – and a reminder that those who had passed away are simply up there in the clouds, watching over the rest of us here down below.

“Seeing the birds made me feel a sense of peace about the tragedy,” Sarah told CNN.

According to CNN, about 60 miles away, in Lakeland, 49 white doves had been released that same day. But the birds in the picture appear to be black. Where birds come from is unclear.

In her Facebook post , Sarah wrote: “There were 49 birds, my friends. The fallen were with us tonight.”
