Staff from Crossfire Equine Rescue in Texas picked up Fancy and stopped the planned slaughter. The horse was terrified and they knew that it would take a lot of work to make her feel happy and safe again.
They didn’t want to leave Fany alone. So they slept in the barn with her so she could handle the first sleepless nights. With patient, exercise and lots of love Fancy changed and felt better. The fear disappeared. She was happy and safe again. The staff knew that she would be an amazing mom!
And finally, she delivered her baby, with no complications whatsoever. A real sweetheart was born!
