Martha Stewart has no shame.

The trailer for the Netflix documentary on her life just dropped, and in it the lifestyle guru openly admitted to having an affair while married to her ex-husband Andrew Stewart.

“Young women, listen to my advice,” Stewart said in the trailer. “If you’re married and your husband starts to cheat on you, he’s a piece of s***.”

“Didn’t you have an affair early on?” a producer quips.

“Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about that,” the 83-year-old casually replied.

If he didn’t know then, he certainly knows now…

The pair first met during their college years when Martha was attending Barnard and Andy was attending law school at Yale. They began dating in 1960 and got married a year later in 1961.

Martha and Andy welcomed their daughter Alexis, now 59, in 1965. They stayed together for nearly three decades before separating in 1987 and finalizing their divorce in 1990.

In 2020, she told People how getting a divorce was “terrible” because she was the first in her family to officially separate from their spouse. The situation was made even worse because the former couple didn’t even speak to each other once they cut ties.

“It was the worst. It was a very horrible thing. All of a sudden, he got real tired. He also thought I was a very selfish person,” she previously told New York Magazine. “I think that was a total misunderstanding of me. I think he got tired of my drive and desire to do lots of things. It’s sad.”

The documentary, which premieres October 30, promises to explore how Martha built her business from the ground up and manages to hold on to the icon status she holds today.

Wow. I will be real curious to see if this Martha Stewart Netflix documentary goes into more detail about this affair. I know I’ll be watching. Will you?
