‘Modern Family’ actor Nolan Gould strips off for social media post – he’s definitely all grown up

It’s hard to see child stars all grown up and looking almost completely unrecognizeable to their well-known characters… And ‘Modern Family’ star Nolan Gould is no different!

The now-24-year-old was just 10 when he landed one of the main roles in the hit American sitcom ‘Modern Family’, which also starred Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Ariel Winter, and Sarah Hyland.

He played the dim but lovable Luke Dunphy, who was often getting into mischief with his father, Phil, or his step-uncle, Manny.

But the actor has proven that he’s no longer a child – taking to Instagram to post a sweaty, shirtless photo of himself while out a hiking trip in Colorado recently.

“Four Pass Loop – Maroon Bells, Colorado. 26 miles, more oatmeal packets than can be counted. Aliens were definitely seen,” he captioned the set of images, which included one of him wearing only trousers and wiping the sweat from his chest with a white cloth.

Gould has previoulsy spoken about how he seized the opportunity to get fit during the COVID-19 pandemic, telling People magazine in 2021:

“I spent six months basically on vacation. But I feel like now it’s time to kind of make a decision on where I want to go with my career, and one of the ways you can do that is by changing my look and my mindset,” he revealed.

“I’ve been working out an hour and a half everyday with my friend Michael who is a personal trainer. We have a really cool socially-distant setup that has allowed me to get fit while also being safe. It’s been nice,” he continued.

The star added: “Especially being unemployed in quarantine, having a reason to get up and stay motivated. It’s been something that’s been very healthy and positive for me in quarantine. It’s really changed my outlook.”

As for his workout regimen, Gould said: “I kind of split stuff up throughout the day. I do an hour of strength training every day, and then 30 minutes of cardio and core throughout the day.”

When it comes to his diet, he told the outlet that he tends to focus on consuming more protein and vegetables that he once did, instead of wolfing down pizzas like a “teenage boy/bachelor.”

He also said giving up alcohol was beneficial to his stunning transformation, as he said it has made him feel more “clear-headed”.
