Former 1st grade bully tracks down victim more than 15 years later and makes it up to him with pizza

We’ve all done things we regret when we were young, right? How many of us made up for those wrongs?

One Oklahoma man is determined to show his former victim that he’s changed from his former “stupid, fat, little self” and apologize for actions that took place every day more than 15 years ago.

Joe Erwin, 24, recently admitted one of the worst things he did as a child that still haunts him as an adult was stealing one of his so-called friend’s lunch every day.

“I’d absolutely house that pizza right in front of him, and he didn’t get to eat lunch,” he said in his now viral video.

Erwin explained that he and his friend always ate pizza and because he was a “little guy and — surprise — I was a fat kid,” the now 24-year-old comedian assumed that meant his friend from first grade didn’t need to eat a lot.

The boy, who Erwin later revealed was named Dylan, repeatedly told Erwin to stop, but the young Erwin would always reply, “Oh, I’m sorry, man. I’m just hungry — that’s all.”

He ended his video by asking everyone to help him find Dylan so he could properly apologize.

Within days he had an update. Thanks to a friend who still had an old elementary school yearbook, he was able to find Dylan’s last name. Erwin found him on Facebook and reached out to him.

To everyone’s surprise, Dylan replied and remembered!

“Next time I’m in Tulsa, pizza’s on you, man!” he said.

Erwin added another update stating that the two had agreed on a date, May 14. The former bully and his ex-victim plan to meet while Dylan is in Kansas City, Kansas.

Here’s to hoping their reunion is everything they both wish for, and Dylan finally gets to enjoy his pizza.
