2-year-old saves twin from death trap – now their mom is warning parents of small children

Kayli Shoff lives with her husband and twin sons in Orem, Utah.

Now a video that she and her husband, Ricky, posted of their sons on Facebook is going viral.

The video starts with the brothers pulling out the clothes drawers on the dresser in their bedroom. But when they begin to climb up onto the drawers, the dressers—which isn’t properly attached to the wall—tips it and crushes Brock, one of the twins.

His brother, Bowdy, managed to avoid being pinned down by the dresser and he somehow managed to gather the strength to move the dresser off of his brother.

The twins’ mother Kayli, had gone upstairs for a moment and didn’t hear the dresser fall or Brock crying, writes the Daily Mail.

When she came back to the room, the boys were playing together as if nothing had happened.

Father Ricky debated whether he would post the video and let the public see it. But in the end, he decided to post it as a reminder to parents to make their children’s rooms safe.

“We are so grateful for the bond that these twin brothers share. We know Bowdy was not alone in moving the dresser off of Brock. And feel blessed that he is OK. ‘Please make sure all your dressers are bolted and secured to the wall. Please share,” Ricky Shoff wrote on Facebook.
