Due to an extensive power outage in the area, only a single parademic could manage to make it to the home of a mother who called for help after realizing that she would have to deliver her baby from home.
The home was very dark and the medic asked Kathleen, the mom’s little three-year-old daughter, if she could help hold up a flashlight so that the medic could properly see and deliver the child.
Kathleen, who took the task very seriously, behaved flawlessly.
The mother pushed and pushed, and finally, little Connor entered the world. The medic grabbed his little legs, lifted him up and gave him a proper little spank on the bum.
The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the little girl what she thought about what she had just witnessed.
Kathleen quickly responded: “He should not have crawled in there in the first place… you should continue spanking him on the bum!”
