Image of 92-year-old man coloring his wife’s hair amid social distancing goes viral

With so many families spending more time together than they normally would our daily focus has shifted and it seems that it’s the simple things in life that are helping to raise our spirits.

The simple things may mean a family meal or board game but one elderly couple showed it can also mean turning your home into a beauty salon – run by your husband.

Facebook user Yael Shapira Avraham, from Israel, posted a picture of his 92-year-old grandparents showing his grandfather coloring his grandmother’s hair.

The adorable picture was posted with the words: “These are my 92-year-old grandparents (we will be healthy). In any situation, my grandfather takes care that my grandmother will feel well-groomed. You don’t see things like this every day.”

With strict restrictions on all of our lives to help stop the spread of the potentially deadly coronavirus this couple are keeping themselves safe at home but not without the grandmother missing her trips to the salon.

The image has been shared across the world to show the meaning of true love in this time of crisis.
