Incredibly, Christine’s fertilized embryo split into three, and then one of them split again. It meant that Christine was suddenly pregnant with no fewer than four babies! According to experts, this phenomenon occurs once every 4,000 years. Take a moment to let that sink in… Wow!
Miracle children Caroline, Darcy, Alexis, and Elizabeth were born in week 30 of Christine’s pregnancy via a Caesarean section in March 2013.
Christine left the hospital a week later, but her daughters stayed in the care of doctors for nine weeks before they went home.
This year, the girls celebrated their third birthday together and the family is continuing to do well. What sweet girls!
