When Gary Martin, 62, from New York, was attacked by two teenage girls on his lawn, he would have been forgiven for thinking they might get away with it. The girls had no idea that Lady Karma was waiting just around the corner, and ready to fight back with full force.
The incident occurred when Gary saw two girls standing on his lawn, congregating by a car that was for sale close by. According to The News Tribute, the 62-year-old asked them to move from his property. When they refused, a verbal argument ensued, ending in the two girls attacking the man and then fleeing the scene.
What the girls didn’t know, however, was that a neighbor had filmed the whole ordeal. Said neighbor then published the clip on social media, leading to it going viral. The girls, aged just 14 and 15 at the time, were subsequently arrested and charged by the police.
It pains me to see a man punched in the face simply because he tried to ask some teenagers to move. Unfortunately, not everyone shares the respect for our elders and their property that they should. Luckily, on this occasion at least, justice was served.
