Waiter is sick of customers with bad manners – he gets revenge with a sign

By putting this sign outside his coffee shop in Roanoke, Virginia, Austin Simms wanted to limit the rudeness shown by patrons.

The new prices at the cafe help the customers to remember that the people standing behind the checkout are humans with feelings.

The sign reads: ”Small coffee $5”

”Small coffee, please. $3”

”Hello, one small coffee, please. $1.75”

Austin said: “I decided to start charging more for people who didn’t take the time to say hello and connect and realize we’re all people behind the counter.”

It only took a before Austin’s new price menu became world news – with journalists and photographers flocking to the cafe.

Austin never expected his new prices to attract such widespread attention – he just wanted his customers to be a little nicer!

What do you think of Austin’s smart solution to get his customers to be nicer?

I think it’s important to remind us all that kindness costs nothing and some people don’t realize the damage they do by being rude and unkind. Share if you agree!
