For any 12-year-old, stepping onto a huge stage, in front of a jury which includes notoriously harsh Simon Cowell and with the entire country watching is no easy feat. So imagine being in that position – and then barely beginning your performance before an irritated looking Simon Cowel decides to interrupt you. Not easy!
One recent auditioner on popular talent show Britain’s Got Talent, Shaheen Jafargholi, experienced precisely all the above. He begins to sing one of his favorite songs when Simon irritably interrupts him and tells him “he has it all wrong.”
Shaheen looks devastated, but keeps his cool. Simon asks him what more he can sing. The choice falls on the Jackson 5 classic “Who’s Loving You”, a very difficult song to sing.
But then magic seems to happen. Simon appears to have done Shaheen quite the favor – the young boy seems entirely in his element and blows the audience away with a spectacular performance. Within seconds, the crowd is on its feet, and the previously annoyed Simon is now very impressed.
