Woman says she lives with 1,000 cats – shocks everyone when she reveals inside of house

I know plenty of cat lovers, and a few have as many as 4-5 cats at home. But 68-year-old Lynea Lattanzio certainly takes the prize as this year’s “cat lady”.

This amazing woman gave up her former spacious and luxurious home – complete with a swimming pool and water view – just to take care of her beloved cats.

Now Lynea Lattanzio lives in a small mobile home and takes care of more than a thousand cats who are waiting for a forever home. According to Lynea, she has lived with a total of 28,000 cats throughout her lifetime.

Her commitment began in 1992, when she adopted 15 kittens that needed a new home.

Since then, her shelter has increased in size, with most expenses paid out of her own pocket. She has, among other things, used all of her retirement savings and sold her car in order to house and feed the cats.

Lynea’s mobile home is located on on a 24,281 square meter plot of land, surrounded by a fence. This gives the cats plenty of space to move freely as they wait for adoption. The space is also California’s largest fenced haven for the city’s abandoned and feral cats, who for various reasons are not as suitable for adoption.

Together with a small team of volunteers, Lynea cares for 800 adult cats and 300 kittens.

Take a look at the video below to discover Lynea’s amazing cat shelter – I guarantee you’ve never seen anything like this before!

Isn’t it great to see a woman with such a great passion for giving all these cats a second chance in life?

I think this woman’s dedication is worth sharing with every cat-loving friend I know!
