Donald Trump appeared with his wife at the premiere of Melania’s self-titled documentary. In recent months, several experts have raised questions about his well-being. His behavior on the red carpet has fueled further speculations as the president has been accused of forgetting which country Melania is from.
Melania Trump’s new film, the self-titled documentary Melania, which chronicles her life leading up to the 2025 inauguration, is in the spotlight. The film’s production was announced just weeks before the inauguration, and it premiered on Friday, January 30.
Sadly, the talk beforehand hasn’t been very positive. While President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to promote the film, exclaiming that tickets were “selling fast,” that doesn’t appear to be the whole truth.
Social media users have shared pictures of screening layouts in different cities, revealing that many movie theaters haven’t sold a single ticket to the documentary.
While sales are projected to be way lower than expected, the film could end up making a huge loss.

Journalist Rob Shuter claims the damp ticket sales have forced Republican clubs across several conservative-leaning areas to quietly buy out screenings in order to save Melania’s documentary.
Donald Trump & Melania attends premier of first lady’s new film
Although interest in the documentary so far doesn’t seem great, the film had a glamorous premiere at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.
Several Washington hot shots, including U.S. Attorney Alina Habba and Speaker Mike Johnson, were in attendance, walking the red carpet. So, of course, did Donald Trump and Melania. Speaking with Fox News on the red carpet, the president praised his wife, saying that during her second term as First Lady, she has been more outspoken.
“I’ve noticed that myself,” Donald Trump said. “She has been more outspoken. That comes with time. She’s done a great job. She’s very popular, a very respected person.”
Melania added, “I’m very selective in what I do, when I talk. And that is my choice, and I’m mission and action-oriented, and we had a very successful first year in my office as a first lady, and I’m proud of what we achieved.”
Although Donald Trump’s presidential actions, such as the Greenland situation, the Epstein files, and the crackdown on illegal immigration through the ICE operations, have been making headlines, many have similutaneiously questined hos health.

Some experts, including Former White House doctor Jeffrey Kuhlman, have stated that the president is not doing as well as the White House is saying, while others claim he has dementia.
Trump accused of forgetting which country Melania is from
People point to signs such as Trump forgetting what he’s said or even confusing countries, like Greenland with Iceland, as evidence that he’s not doing well. And now, another incident, on the red carpet for Melania’s film, has put more wood on the fire.
When speaking about Melania, the 79-year-old seemed to have trouble remembering where his wife of 20 years was born.
“She comes from a faraway country, a wonderful country, clean, beautiful, safe. Doesn’t have problems like others have. But she comes from a very safe country, very good country,” Trump said about his Slovenian-born wife.
He added, “It’s different, and she speaks a lot of languages, very smart, understands what happens. And she’s a good influencer, of me.”
Social media users quickly began commenting about what Trump said, accusing him of forgetting where his wife is from.
“He has no idea what country his wife is from,” one user wrote on X.
He forgot where his wife is from…didn’t he? lol,” another said, to which a user replied, “he never knew.”
A third person claimed, “Trump must be having a hard time remembering who came from where,” while a fourth added, “Lol he couldn’t point to Slovenia on map. He probably thinks she’s from Slovakia half the time.”
