Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan are no longer a couple.
But their son Jack continues to turn heads — and the latest photos have fans doing a double take.
For years, Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan’s relationship was one of the most closely watched romances in the celebrity world.
Both were at the height of their careers when they got together back in 2004— and although their relationship eventually ended, it resulted in something that would connect them forever: their son, Jack.
Now 19, Jack has grown into a striking young man, and when he recently stepped out with his mother at the 2026 US Open, fans couldn’t help but notice just how much he resembles his famous father.
The mother-son pair attended the tournament in New York on August 30, continuing what has become a yearly tradition for the two.
But this time, something else stole the spotlight.
From a high-profile romance to co-parenting
When Brady and Moynahan were first linked in early 2004, both were riding high professionally.
Brady had recently won his second Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, while Moynahan was already a familiar face thanks to Sex and the City and movies including Coyote Ugly, Serendipity and The Recruit.
The couple soon became a fixture at major celebrity events, appearing together at the 2005 Vanity Fair Oscars party, the Met Gala, movie premieres and championship celebrations.
Then, after roughly three years together, they announced their breakup in December 2006. Just two months later, Moynahan’s representative confirmed that she was pregnant with Brady’s child.
The circumstances surrounding Jack’s arrival brought intense media attention, particularly after Brady began a relationship with Gisele Bündchen.
Brady later admitted that the news came as a surprise and created a complicated situation for everyone involved.
“Next thing you know, I found out that Bridget was pregnant with our son,” he said. “So that was a very unique time … and it challenged me in a lot of ways, again, to grow up in a different way. It was very hard for my wife to think she fell in love with this guy, and then now this guy’s ex-girlfriend’s pregnant.”
But over the years, Moynahan and Brady managed to put the drama behind them and establish a successful co-parenting relationship.
Moynahan explained in 2019:
”From the very beginning the whole goal specifically was to always keep it positive,” Moynahan told People about co-parenting with Brady in 2019. ”To raise a son in the healthiest environment, and I know we’ve all done that, and it shows.”
”Wasn’t holding my hand while I pushed”
John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan was born in August 2007 and arrived at St. John’s Medical Center in Santa Monica, California.
At the time, Brady was reportedly looking forward to becoming a father. “Tom and his family are excited about the pregnancy,” his agent said in a statement.
But in 2011, the actress opened up about Jack’s birth and revealed that Tom Brady was not in the delivery room. “[Tom] was not in the [delivery] room,” she told More magazine. “He was there on that day and came in afterwards. He certainly wasn’t holding my hand while I pushed.”
Growing up with two famous parents meant that his childhood attracted considerable public attention.
Moynahan has previously spoken about how difficult that period could be, particularly when photographers followed her after she became a new mother.
”As a new mother, you want to just protect your child. That kind of attention felt like a threat,” she said in a 2019 interview with People.
Growing up in the spotlight
In her book Our Shoes, Our Selves, Moynahan described the experience even more painfully:
”Having a baby should have been the most joyous time of my life, but instead I felt assaulted.”
She also wrote:
”It’s unnerving to be followed and stalked like that, especially during such an emotionally vulnerable time.”
Despite those difficult early years, Moynahan has since spoken proudly about the life she and Jack have built.
”I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love,” she said.
A bond that has only grown stronger
Jack’s relationship with both parents has remained a source of pride for his family.
Moynahan has said that she and her son share a love of music, with each of them introducing the other to artists from different generations.
”I get to introduce the Red Hot Chili Peppers to my son, and he’s introducing me to some of the other artists and D-Nice and everybody,” she said. She described their shared musical connection as “nice.”
Brady, meanwhile, has continued to celebrate his son publicly.
For Jack’s 19th birthday, Brady shared an emotional tribute:
“Happy 19th birthday, Jack! 🎉 Aug 22, 2007 is a day I’ll never forget, because that’s when you showed up and stole my heart (and my sleep… and my patience… hahahaha).”
“You’re kind, thoughtful, empathetic, and full of love!”
He continued:
“And I’m so proud of who you have become. You fill my heart with so much joy and I’m blessed to be your dad. I cant wait to see what’s next”
Moynahan marked the same milestone with a much shorter — but equally touching — message.
“The love of my life doesn’t call me with romantic words or sweet nicknames. The love of my life calls me ‘mom.'”
And when Jack graduated from high school in June 2026, Brady and Moynahan put their differences aside and reunited to celebrate the milestone together.
Another year, another US Open tradition
But now, even more photos have begun making the rounds on social media.
On August 30, Moynahan and Jack were photographed together at the US Open, sitting side by side as they watched the tennis action.
Both were dressed casually in white, with Moynahan wearing sunglasses and her hair pulled back. Jack looked relaxed beside his mother as they enjoyed the match.
But there was one detail that immediately caught people’s attention.
Jack is now nearly a head taller than his mother.
The dramatic height difference made it clear just how quickly the little boy fans once knew has grown up.
The two have actually made attending the US Open something of an annual tradition. Moynahan shared a photo from the tournament last year, writing:
“Traditions at the @usopen 🎾”
She also thanked Emirates for hosting what she described as an incredible night of tennis.
‘The older he gets, the more he looks like Tom’
As photos from this year’s event began circulating, fans quickly focused on Jack’s appearance.
One commenter wrote, ”The older he gets, the more he looks like Tom.”
Another said, ”He’s a clone of his Dad”.
Others were equally convinced, with one fan declaring, “Wow, he’s actually even more handsome than his father!”
”Nature has a way of making sure there’s no doubt who the father is in a lot of cases. This is one of them,” another penned.
Not everyone agreed that Jack was a complete Tom Brady lookalike, however.
”Looks like dad but I think he has mom’s nose! Beautiful pictures!” another commenter wrote.
And one fan summed up the resemblance rather bluntly:
”Copy and paste for real.”
Someone else offered a different opinion:
”He looks like both of his parents but, I think he looks more like mom.”
Either way, the debate made one thing obvious: Jack has inherited plenty of famous features from both sides of his family.
Years after the highly publicized romance between Brady and Moynahan came to an end, their son has grown into his own person — even if fans can’t resist debating which famous parent he looks like most.
