People fear for Betty White’s life during corona outbreak, now she’s given an update

A representative of the legendary Betty White has confirmed that she is ‘doing fine’ in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Fears grew for the 98-year-old after news broke earlier this week that Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, have both been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Rumours on Twitter raised concerns over White, who, with her advanced age, could be at higher risk of experiencing serious problems. However, a representative told TODAY that “Betty is fine”.

Plans for containment and minimising the exposure related to coronavirus have been put in place by President Donald Trump. They include the halting of travel from Europe to the U.S. for 30 days. The NBA have also been forced to suspend their regular season.

Tom Hanks, meanwhile, confirmed on Wednesday night that he and Rita Wilson had tested positive for coronavirus in Australia. The couple have since been quarantined and will be monitored moving forward.

A top CDC official recommended on Monday that people over the age of 60 and anyone with chronic medical conditions should prepare for a lengthy stay at home.

We’re glad to hear that Betty White is fine! All our thoughts and prayers go to those who are suffering from or have been affected by coronavirus.
