Quarantined old lady goes viral with sign asking for ‘more beer,’ and gets a special delivery

The coronavirus pandemic has affected all of our lives. We’re all self-isolating at home, and it can be hard to even go out to the store to get some supplies.

While many people are stocking up on toilet paper, we all know what the real danger is: running out of beer.

That was the reality for one elderly woman, who put out an urgent message to tell the world she was running low on cold ones… and luckily, people came through with an emergency supply.

Olive Veronesi, a 93-year-old from Seminole, Pennsylvania, is being a responsible citizen by staying at home. But as she ran low on Coors Light, she sent out a message to her neighbors:

The photo went viral, and it’s not hard to see why. Olive really represents all of us during this difficult time.

Soon strangers all over were offering to send Olive some beer… but soon she got a special delivery straight from the source.

According to KDKA, representatives from Molson Coors showed up at her door with ten cases of Coors Light. We don’t normally condone traveling right now but this delivery was certainly worth it.

She was thrilled with the surprise delivery: “It’s nice, something for a young lady,” Olive told KDKA.

She said her beer supply was something to relax with, which we can all relate to right now.

Olive has now updated her sign to say “Got More Beer.”

This woman is our hero. Remember to keep safe, stay at home, and don’t run out of beer. Share this funny story!
