I’ve seen a lot of ducks in my life—but none like Nibbles. He lives with a family who see him not as a duck but as a family member. And he seems to love it.
Nibbles’ mother died before he hatched, so his family warmed his egg in an incubator. And when Nibbles hatched, 10-year-old Jonny took care of him.
Now, Jonny is his best friend in the whole world. Just watch the video below, when Jonny’s mom goes to pick him up from the school bus and Nibbles goes along for the ride. I’ve never seen a duck get so excited to see a little boy before!
This really proves that even ducks feel emotion and love for others.d
