Police officer hesitates in front of a small owl – now look at the animal’s response when she kneels down and asks it one question

Coming face to face with animals in the middle of nature can be an exciting experience.

A police officer from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office in Flatiron, Boulder, USA, had just this after encountering a baby owl some years ago.

There, in the middle of the road, the little owl stood, perfectly still.

What the police woman did? She walked slowly towards it, kneeled down — and began to speak to it!

At first, the wise little bird stood perfectly still, watching the strange human closely. We can only guess it must have been wondered what she was on about. But the owl also appears to recognize that the officer has only best intentions — because soon enough, the two were having a jolly good time together.

Thankfully, the ensuing ‘conversation’ was caught on camera — and it’s just adorable.

Here’s what apparently happens if you come face to face with a baby owl and start engaging it in conversation — it answers back.

“Hi! What’s up?” asks the officer. Watch their adorable interaction in the video below.

Please share this wonderful little dialogue if you love animals as much as we do!
