I can’t even imagine how I would react if my pet were to disappear without a trace. Even with the most positive outlook, it would be hard to believe that my beloved pet was alive and well after being missing for months.
That was the case for one Florida man who hadn’t seen his dog Mary Jane, a pit bull mix, for 7 months, according to The Dodo.
His reaction when he and his pet see each other again is amazing!
Mary Jane was stolen from her owner 7 months ago. Somehow, she ended up at Collier County Domestic Animal Services Department in Naples, Florida. Either the thief released her or she managed to escape.
While she was staying at the animal shelter, Mary Jane received a new name: Chloe.
When animal services uploaded a photo of ”Chloe” and asked if anyone wanted to adopt her, her real family saw the photo and contacted the shelter right away.
Soon after, Mary Jane was reunited with her favorite person in the world. Watch the heartwarming reunion below:
