Legendary actor Robert Duvall has died at 95. He was married to his fourth wife, Luciana Pedraza, up until his death. She was 41 years younger than him, and shortly before his death, Duvall shared the truth about their marriage
Actor Robert Duvall passed away on Sunday at age 95, surrounded by his family.
His career spanned several decades, during which he played significant roles, including Tom Hagen in The Godfather and Lieutenant Colonel Kilgore in Apocalypse Now. He received seven Academy Award nominations and won the Best Actor award for the film Tender Mercies.
The actor has received many tributes following the news of his passing. It was his wife, Luciana Pedraza, who announced the sad news on Facebook.
“Yesterday, we said farewell to my beloved husband, dear friend, and one of the greatest actors of our time. Bob passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love and comfort.”
“For the world, he was an Oscar-winning actor, a director, a storyteller. To me, he was simply everything,” she continued.

It took several attempts before Robert found his true love. He was married three times before meeting his fourth and final wife, Luciana. She is 41 years younger than Robert, yet they stayed together for 25 years before he passed away.
Ribert and Luciana met in 1996. In a 2010 interview with Esquire, Duvall revealed that it occurred in Argentina and that it was surely faith.
“The flower shop was closed, so I went to the bakery. If the flower shop had been open, I never would’ve met her.”
They appeared together in the 2003 film Assassination Tango, which Duvall wrote and directed, and they wed two years later. Five years ago, when Robert was 90, he was asked what he loved most about being his age. He quickly replied that it was the time he spent with his wife.
“Love most? I don’t know if I love anything in particular, but every day with my wonderful wife,” he told People Magazine. “She takes care of me. And I have good friends, and I try to exercise and stay in decent shape.”
