Fans of Jason Aldean worried as singer suffers health scare on stage – show rescheduled

Country music star Jason Aldean suffered a minor health scare while performing onstage recently, and fans are concerned.

Aldean experienced distress on stage during his concert on Saturday night (July 15) in Connecticut, resulting in an abrupt end to the show.

While performing at Hartford’s Xfinity Theatre, Aldean encountered difficulties while singing his song Crazy Town.

It was during the middle of the performance that the 46-year-old Georgia native was reportedly seen stepping away from the microphone to cough, visibly struggling to continue. Attempting to push through, Aldean could barely carry on singing before he hurriedly left the stage.

The country star did not return for the remainder of the concert.

The following morning, the concert venue released a statement via Twitter addressing the incident, which was later revealed to be due to heat stroke.

“Yesterday’s Jason Aldean show will be rescheduled for a future date. We appreciate your patience as we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of well wishes for Jason. A rep has confirmed he is now doing well after experiencing heat stroke during last night’s performance,” they wrote.

A representative for Aldean also confirmed the news to Fox News.

Before the performance, Aldean’s wife, Brittany, shared on Instagram that she would be joining her husband on his Highway Desperado tour the following weekend, along with their children.

“The kiddos and I will be on tour next weekend,” she captioned an image of her fresh manicure, asking her followers what sort of “content” they’d like to see from her.

Aldean is currently scheduled to perform two shows in Ohio this week on Thursday and Friday – so far, these have not yet been rescheduled.

Fans flooded the comment section of Brittany’s post with messages of concern and well-wishes for her husband.

“Hoping Jason is ok. We were at the show in Hartford. Sending love & prayers,” one user wrote.

Another person, who had been at the show, commented on how “scary” the situation was, adding: “Is he ok? At the Hartford show – that was scary.”

While Aldean was performing, a flood warning was in effect in the area, accompanied by mid-80s temperatures.

Sending our thoughts and prayers to Jason Aldean at this time.
