Days after rumors began to swirl that Travis Kelce was prepared to propose to Taylor Swift “sooner [rather] than later,” multiple sources have come forward stating the Kansas City Chiefs’ star is not ready to pop the question yet.
Although the 34-year-old Kelce “cares very deeply” about the 34-year-old Swift, “he’s just not there yet.”
According to a report from Us Weekly, multiple sources have claimed there are no wedding bells in sight for the celebrity couple.
“Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” one of the insiders shared. “It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”
Rumors of a possible engagement have been fueled by a recent report and the couple’s recent getaway to Lake Como amid Swift’s European Eras Tour.
In January, a separate source told Us Weekly the couple had “no plans on getting engaged this summer.”
“Things between them are going amazing, but they haven’t even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.”
Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship in September 2023 and have publicly supported each other ever since. Swift notably began attending Kelce’s football games, and Kelce has been known to make appearances during Swift’s tour.
