Fans hoping for a shock reconciliation between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck look set to be disappointed, if certain reports are to be believed.
Much and more has been speculated regarding the A-list pair in recent weeks, with the strongest indicators appearing to point towards the idea that they’re destined for divorce.
Not only has Ben reportedly moved out of the couple’s Beverly Hills mansion, but J-Lo canceled her planned North America tour in order to spend more time with her family. Add to that the incessant rumors of trouble in paradise, and it’s difficult to come to any conclusion other than that there’s serious work to be done if the pair want to salvage their marriage.
And while the idea of another twist in the story – one that sees the supposedly estranged lovers work things out and move forward together – would undoubtedly go down well with their respective fan bases, a new report has dealt a blow to that possible eventuality.
According to Radar Online, Lopez has now given up on trying to save her marriage with Affleck, and is about ready to kick him to the curb for good.
Radar have previously reported that the This Is Me… Now singer was determined to fix things with Ben, and to that end has pooled her efforts and resources into trying to win him back.
Now, though, an insider claims to have knowledge that “she’s hit a wall when it comes to fixing things because he just isn’t reciprocating.”
Readers will remember that ‘Bennifer’ reconciled almost two decades after calling off their first engagement back in the early 00s. The couple married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2022, thereafter shelling out a fee thought to be close to $60 million for a marital home in Beverly Hills.
Less than a year later, though, Affleck moved out of the property and has since been renting a house as he films The Accountant 2.
The aforementioned source told Radar: “At first J Lo was willing to do anything to get him to come home, but it was just pointless. She’s now telling friends she’s over trying.”
Earlier today, several photos and videos showing Lopez’s mode of transportation in Europe were posted on social media.
Surprisingly, she wasn’t on a private jet but a regular airplane filled with everyday travelers. On Saturday, she flew from Naples to Paris on a standard commercial flight.
The singer and actress mingled in the cabin with everyone else, accompanied by a bodyguard who took up aisle duty while she occupied the window seat, minding her own business.
