Justin Timberlake mugshot released – specific detail from arrest reveals ’embarrassing’ blow

Justin Timberlake‘s mugshot has been released after the musician and actor’s arrest for driving while intoxicated earlier this week.

We reported yesterday that the star was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York on Monday evening, with it rumored that he would be due in court yesterday (June 18).

TMZ are now reporting that the Mirrors singer was pulled over by law enforcement after driving away from the American Hotel, where he had supposedly been partying with friends. The 43-year-old told cops that he had only had one martini to drink.

TMZ also stated that police performed a field sobriety test on Timberlake – which he failed – though the star refused to take a breathalyzer test before he was cuffed.

They went on to claim that the troubling scene was captured on police bodycam, including Timberlake’s handcuffing and arrest.

A court document that AP was privy to read: “His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”

As per reports, Timberlake was released without bond on Tuesday morning, and charged with a driving-while-intoxicated misdemeanor.

The Suffolk County district attorney’s office confirmed that the superstar’s next court date is scheduled for July 26. Justin, remember, is in the midst of a his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, and has dates scheduled in Chicago and New York City in the coming days.

A report in Page Six claimed that Timberlake referenced his tour – and the potential complications an arrest might cause – after he’d been stopped by the police.

“Justin said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour,'” a source told Page Six.

They added: “The cop replied, ‘What tour’, Justin said, ‘The world tour.'”

The outlet even claimed that the arresting officer was too young to know Justin Timberlake was, and – somewhat embarrassingly – wasn’t aware of the fame associated with the man he had pulled over.
