Kanye West speaks on rumor he was ‘kicked out of Grammys’

If you were watching the Grammys earlier this week, or indeed have followed any of the fall out, you won’t have missed the incident involving Kanye West and Bianca Censori.

For all those who missed out on the action, ‘Ye’ and his wife were present on the red carpet at the 2025 Grammys on Sunday night, where the latter promptly dropped the black feather coat she had on to reveal… well, essentially nothing.

No, not nothing like she had promised a surprise and failed to deliver. We mean nothing as in she was as close to nude as one can possibly get and stay on (arguably) the right side of the law.

Bianca Censori and the outfit

Over the past few years, Censori’s outfits – or lack of – have become a regular topic of discussion. Whether it’s at high-end red carpet events or simply strolling the streets, the 30-year-old model has courted controversy on the regular by way of donning a wardrobe that’s not so much sensational as simply scantily-clad.

And yet even by her risqué standards, the outfit she donned for the Grammys this year was sensational. It didn’t take long before people were expressing their opinions online, and it seems as though the same sentiment was universally shared.

Before long, the hashtag #BiancaCensori was trending, offering a mix of shock, criticism, and disbelief from internet users the world over.

”She needs to just put all that away… I’m all for women empowering their bodies, but this?” one user wrote on X.

Another penned: ”Aren’t there laws against this sort of thing?”

”It’s shocking but also so sad. That’s someone’s daughter that he’s brainwashed.”, a third added.

Needless to say, much and more has been said and written about West and Censori’s outing… so much so that West himself has now been forced to speak out on a particular fascinating rumor that insisted the celebrity couple had been ‘kicked out of the Grammys’.

Conflicting reports said that they had been ejected for not being invited, but West – nominated for Best Rap Song at this year’s Grammys for his track Carnival moved to deny them, taking aim at US broadcaster Don Lemon in the process.

Writing on his Instagram, West said: “This the goofball that started the rumour that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this.”

The post has reportedly since been deleted.

Apparently in no mood to take the admonishment lying down, Lemon responded with his own post on Instagram.

“First of all, Kanye, Ye – whatever your name is – I did not start a rumour about you being kicked out of the Grammys, I actually corrected it,” the broadcaster explained.

“I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere.

“So, first of all, get your sh*t straight. And you, of all people, calling me a c**n? That ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”
