Madame Tussauds unveils new Beyoncé wax figure, leaving many fans questioning figure’s identity

When Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, England unveiled their latest wax figure, fans weren’t crazy in love with it.

The wax figure, meant to look like Beyoncé, went viral shortly after its unveiling. But it didn’t go viral because of the similarities it shared with Beyoncé, no, in fact people were perplexed at how much it looked like another celebrity.

After Madame Tussauds Blackpool revealed an image on Instagram of their newest wax figure, the comments started rolling in.

“This is Nice, but this is Not Beyoncé,” one person wrote under the photo.

“Why would they even display this .. I know somebody could see this wasn’t it..” someone else commented.

“honey that is not Beyoncé, that is Leah Remini,” a user wrote on X.

Many people agreed.

The wax figure looked more like the King of Queens star than the 32-time Grammy-winning singer.

Even Remini herself chimed in.

“I am screaming! And loving all the tweets!” she wrote in response to everyone’s response to the wax figure. “This perimenopausal woman will take any and all comparisons to the beautiful Beyoncé!”

LOS ANGELES – FEB 10: Beyonce arrives to the 2013 Grammy Awards on February 10, 2013 in Hollywood, CA

This isn’t the first time a wax museum has missed the mark.

In October, Lil Wayne reacted to a wax replica of himself saying, “Sorry, wax museum, but dat s— ain’t me!”

Also in October, a Dwayne Johnson figure received some backlash after the figure’s complexion was off.

Who do you think the wax figure looks like? Beyoncé, Leah Remini, or someone else?
