Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are reportedly more than just co-stars. The 58-year-old “Baywatch” icon and the 73-year-old action legend are said to be in the early stages of a romance after filming their upcoming comedy, The Naked Gun.
A source told People the two “have been enjoying each other’s company” and that their connection is “sincere,” adding, “It’s clear they’re smitten with each other.”
Though neither Anderson nor Neeson has officially confirmed the relationship, they’ve been leaning into the speculation during the press tour for the film, even going as far as staging a cheeky faux makeout moment live on TODAY, per The Independent.
While teasing their appearance, cameras cut to the duo seemingly kissing backstage, leaving hosts and viewers alike wondering what was going on.
“What’s the deal here? You’re both single right now. There’s clearly chemistry. Are you two an item?” anchor Craig Melvin asked during their segment.
Anderson played coy, responding with a confused: “What? I don’t understand the question,” while Neeson leaned in just enough to keep people guessing. “We met on set,” he said. “And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry as two actors. It was like, ‘Ooh, this is nice. Let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe.’”

He added warmly, “It’s great to be with this lady. Every day’s a joy.”
Anderson and Neeson have been spotted getting close off-screen, too. At the film’s recent premieres in London and New York, they shared affectionate moments, including a kiss on the cheek and red carpet appearances with their families. Anderson was joined by her sons, Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27, while Neeson brought along his sons, Micheál, 30, and Daniel, 28.
Earlier this month, Anderson told Entertainment Weekly, “I think I have a friend forever in Liam. We definitely have a connection that’s very sincere and very loving.”
Neeson echoed the sentiment, calling their chemistry “rare” and admitting he’s “madly in love” with his co-star.
That’s a notable shift from just nine months ago, when Neeson claimed he was “past all that” when asked about dating.
The Naked Gun, in which Neeson plays Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. and Anderson stars as femme fatale Beth, hits theaters Friday, August 1.
