Royal family update: 4-year-old Princess Charlotte will attend brand new school in the fall

“We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided that Princess Charlotte will join her elder brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea,” the school’s headmaster said in a statement. “We greatly look forward to welcoming her and all of our new pupils to the school in September.”

It sure seems like the spunky little royal will take the school by storm.

“Charlotte has got a real character, she is very excited about starting school,” a source told Vanity Fair.

Until now, Princess Charlotte has attended Willcocks Nursery School in London.

So what’s in store for her? Thomas’s Battersea offers a wide variety of classes meant to form well-rounded students. Charlotte will have the option of learning about art, ballet, drama, French, and music. There are even after-school activities like fencing, pottery, and community gardening. Princess Charlotte reportedly already loves the dance—perhaps she will pick up a new hobby!

She will also likely go by the name Charlotte Cambridge while at Thomas’s Battersea. And just like Prince George, her arrival at school on her first day will be a very public affair. We can’t wait to see her all decked out!

Princess Charlotte is growing up so quickly! It seems like only yesterday that she was in diapers. Please share to wish her luck on her new schooling adventures!
