Susan Boyle became one of the most famous singers in the world after her spell on Britain’s Got Talent. In latter years, it’s been quite quiet around her, but on Monday, she showed up in public again. As Boyle attended the Pride of Britain gala, she sported a completely new look – and fans are shocked.
15 years ago, Susan Boyle’s life changed forever as she walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage to audition. No one could’ve believed she actually could sing, but the lady from Blackburn in West Lothian, Scotland, proved everyone wrong.
Boyle shocked the crowd, viewers, and the jury with her version of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables, earning the golden buzzer and heading straight to the finals. She came second in the competition, but that didn’t matter. Boyle has since become a household name worldwide, enchanting millions with her voice.
And it wasn’t only “regular people,” who were left baffled by Boyle. On Monday, Piers Morgan revealed how Susan Boyle affected three of Hollywood’s elite greatly with her brilliant audition all those years ago.
He revealed that George Clooney listened to her voice ‘on loop,’ and that Robin Williams once ran into his dressing room while singing the song from her audition. Moreover, the British television host revealed that Demi Moore once wept in her hotel suite, clutching Morgan’s hand, while explaining how much Susan Boyle meant to her.
“I was doing America’s Got Talent and when she became this sort of breakout absolute superstar, three things happened to me which were just completely nuts,” Pierce Morgan said, per the Daily Mail.
Susan Boyle made Demi Moore cry
“The first one, I was doing an interview with George Clooney for CNN with his dad and in the commercial break, George went, ‘By the way, how’s Susan.’ He said, ‘I’m doing this movie Up in the Air, and all we’re doing is playing it on loop all day long – I Dreamed a Dream.,'”
MOrgan recalled the moment he and Demi Moore spoke about Boyle, saying, “She held my hand in the middle of her suite for half an hour, crying as she told me how much Susan Boyle meant to her.”
Susan Boyle never let stardom get to her. She has spent most of her life caring for her mother, and still to this day, Boyle lives in the same Scottish house she has always lived in.
While her career went straight to the top, Susan has sadly suffered some health issues in later years. In 2023, she revealed that she had suffered a stroke a year earlier.
“I had a major stroke, maybe three years ago,” the 64-year-old told STV News earlier this year. “I had to fight my way back. It’s been hard, I’m not going to pretend otherwise. But it’s given me a hunger to keep going.”
“You can’t keep an old woman down, you know?” Boyle said, later adding that she is “feeling OK, and ready to go.”
Susan Boyle debuts striking new look
Lately, it’s been quiet around Susan Boyle. However, on Monday, she stepped out for the Pride of Britain Awards at the London Grosvenor Hotel.

Fans quickly noticed there was something different about Susan, who rocked a striking blond hairstyle.
Her blonde locks, a black and white floral gown, and a black fur wrap completed her amazing outfit. She truly looked like a star.
