Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife Jennifer Meyer has remarried. She tied the knot with Geoffrey Ogunlesi at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii on October 10.
The star-studded guest list reportedly included Courteney Cox and Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, as well as Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos.
Just weeks before, on September 21, Tobey and Jennifer’s divorce was finalized. They split in October 2016 after nine years of marriage, and she filed for divorce in 2020.
“After much soul-searching and consideration, we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” the former couple said in a statement shared with People Magazine in 2016. “As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.”
Jennifer Meyer and Tobey Maguire share two children, 19-year-old Ruby Sweetheart and 17-year-old Otis Tobias. But while the couple is separated and divorced, Jennifer and Toby have kept a good relationship.
Last year, while appearing on The Inside Edit, Meyer spoke about their close bond, saying she considers Tobey her “best friend” who would do “anything” for her.

She also revealed he had developed a good relationship with her new husband. Also, Jennifer revealed how their children stayed with Tobey during the horrifying wildfires in Los Angeles in 2025.
“It was the greatest,” she shared. “Every day I would walk in, and I’d be like, I’m so lucky,’ and then I’d come home at night, and Tobey and Geoff and his best friend would be watching a movie on the couch. I’d be like, ‘How? This is a dream,'” Jennifer said on The Inside Edit.

On social media, some questioned the strange decision to have an ex-husband officiate the ceremony, while others thought it was refreshing.
“I wonder if the kids are confused,” one user wrote.
“What a weird world we live in,” a second added, while a third branded it “awkward”
