‘Yellowstone’ star Cole Hauser is happily married to a former teen star who quit her career to care for their three children

Cole Hauser is a household name these days from his role in the popular “Yellowstone” series, but did you know his wife was once a famous teen star?

Keep reading to find out more about her and their three children.

Cole Hauser plays Rip Wheeler on T.V.’s most famous neo-western series, “Yellowstone.” But where does Hauser come from before his now wildly famous role?

Cole was born in Santa Barbara, California to his Jewish mother and Irish-German-Belgian father. His father, Cass Warner, is known as an actor and the founder of the film production company “Warner Sisters.”

Hauser’s first role was in “School Ties” and his next was in Richard Linklater’s “Dazed and Confused.” He was eventually nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for his role in “Tigerland” and a Movieline breakthrough performance for “White Oleander.”

His acting career kept growing, and, as it did, he was also becoming a loving husband and father.

Hauser’s wife is former actress Cynthia Lynn Daniel. The two were married in 2006, but before they tied the knot, Daniel’s primary focus was elsewhere.

Cynthia entered Hollywood early as she and her twin sister (Brittany) began modeling at 11 years of age. The two worked notably as the “Doublemint Twins” in ads for “Doublemint Gum” and then starred in the popular television series “Sweet Valley High” As Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield in the mid to late 90s.

Other major works that the twins appeared in include 1995’s “The Basketball Diaries” and “That 80’s Show.”

In 2002, Daniel retired from acting. Two years later, she and Hauser welcomed their child, Ryland, into their lives. An additional two years later is when they married.

Colt, their second child, came in 2008 and their third, Steely Rose, joined them in 2013.

Daniel, the former child, and the teen star began work as a professional photographer. Hauser also has always expressed that he makes time for his wife and children as much as possible.

Cynthia’s twin sister, Brittany continued acting after her sister’s retirement, acting in both film and television. After being diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Brittany’s equally famous twin even donated eggs to help ensure that her sister could have children.

Cynthia discussed her decision with her husband before helping her sister and has explained more than once that it was a simple gift for her sister struggling with her disease. The retired Daniel said:

“I know Brittany would do it in a split second for me. And we’ve always shared everything, so why not this?”

Brittany and her husband Adam Touni attempted to have a child three times using Cynthia’s donations for three in vitro fertilization (IVF) attempts but were unsuccessful. Naturally, they feared their dream of becoming parents might never be realized.

In a happy twist of fate, they were successful in their attempts with Daniel’s eggs in a surrogate. They had their daughter via surrogate on October 24, 2021, and appropriately named her Hope.

It is truly amazing what is possible when you pray. Brittany and Hauser are both lucky to have Cynthia in their lives to help in the support of their children. We should all admire this extensive, loving family and all they have done for each other!
