Grandparents will do just about anything for their grandchildren, right?
Betty Mae Jinright certainly will!
The Florida grandmother was convinced into helping her granddaughter Kourtnee Jinright compete in a contest. The rules were simple. All Kourtnee had to do was use Pulp Riot Hair Color to create her “boldest, brightest” look and she was entered into the brand’s contest to win a trip to Los Angeles among other prizes.
“I wanted to enter [the brand Pulp Riot’s Wild Ride] contest and I immediately thought of my grandmother as my guinea pig,” she told Good Morning America.
Her grandmother was the perfect guinea pig because her reaction to her new hair color was absolutely perfect.
Well, here I won’t spoil it. Watch for yourself!
Each time Kourtnee applied a new color to Betty Mae’s hair, Betty Mae let out the most infectious laugh.
“We are always laughing until we can’t breathe,” Kourtnee said.
While the process of dying her grandmother’s hair only took about two hours, it took a little longer to film because of all the laughter.
“My grandmother would do anything for her grandbabies to help them out in their career.”
