It all started when 9-year-old Joselyn asked her dad to babysit his “granddaughter,” Joselyn’s favorite doll, Abbie. Apparently, Abbie told Joselyn that she’d very much like to spend a day with Grandpa and go to work with him in his truck.

In the morning, while her dad was getting ready for work, Joselyn carefully reminded him of his special duty. Her dad carefully picked up Abbie and prepared for the big day. And he didn’t disappoint.

Instead of throwing the doll in the cab of his truck and ignoring his mission, Jocelyn’s dad documented every hour of Abbie’s exciting day. He started by buying his “granddaughter” a small chocolate bar and a Coca-Cola, so she’d really enjoy her day.

At lunch, Joselyn’s dad brought Abbie to spend some time with her great-grandfather. Joselyn’s grandfather works with her dad in the family’s trucking business, and he wanted to meet his new great-granddaughter.

“He thinks the world of his granddaughter,” Joselyn’s granddad was quoted as saying on the family trucking company’s Facebook page.

Abbie also had the opportunity to see how other parts of the family business operate. In the picture above, she is carefully inspecting grains being loaded into a truck. Good job, Abbie!

Obviously, it’s also important to take a picture with such a fine truck. Abbie, known for her fashion sense, took every opportunity to show off with the truck. And certainly, her purple shoes match the color of the truck! Abbie’s stylist, Joselyn, has really done a good job!

At the end of the day, Abbie and her grandfather took a picture together. According her babysitter, Abbie behavior was very well behaved throughout the day and he even said that she has a bright future in the family business!

Doesn’t this dad deserves a big gold star for his nice gesture? Please share if you also loved his wonderful commitment to his daughter!
