Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized with an undisclosed issue that varies in severity depending on the source you read.
The A-lister was transported to a medical facility in Georgia on April 11, and since then the actor’s family have remained very quiet regarding his condition or prognosis for the future.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne wrote in a post on Instagram at the time.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”
More recently, Foxx himself broke his silence to write on Instagram: “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”
Yet if new reports are to be believed, the Django Unchained star is far from out of the woods concerning his recovery. In fact, his family and friends are apparently aware that things could take a turn for the worse at any time.
It’s been a month since Jamie Foxx was hospitalized with a what has been referred to as a ‘medical complication’, but still the general public have no real idea what it was that befell the award-winning actor.
Though reports to date have been contrasting – some have insisted that Foxx is on the mend, while others paint a bleaker picture – none of them have been as damning as RadarOnline’s most recent offering.
The outlet cite a source as speculating that Foxx’s condition may be far graver than any of us believed.
“Jamie’s people are saying he’s doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems — but he wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK,” the source said.

“His friends and family are hoping for the best — but preparing for the worst!” the source went on to say. Further evidence of the seriousness of his condition is the fact that his latest film, Back in Action, resumed production, using his stand-in to finish filming. They would not have done this if they thought Jamie would be back anytime soon.”
That update appears to directly contradict what’s been said elsewhere. Only last week did Foxx’s long-time friend Kevin Hart state that the actor was “getting better”.
“To my knowledge is there’s a lot of progression and a world of better, man,” Hart said on the Impaulsive With Logan Paul podcast.
“The dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy — all that stuff is seen and felt.”
In any case, so long as Foxx remains in hospital, there is always going to be concern as to his overall wellbeing. Reports state that his family are hoping for the best and preparing for the worst, but we’ll have further updates as and when we get them.
