Madonna posted eerie message before being rushed to intensive care – and everyone’s saying the same thing

Madonna shared an eerie message to social media shortly before falling so seriously ill that she was admitted to intensive care.

According to reports, the Queen of Pop was found unconscious in New York on Saturday and rushed to a hospital with a serious bacterial infection.

The singer’s manager, Guy Oseary wrote: “On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care.”

Oseary did insist that “a full recovery is expected” for the 64-year-old, only for a relative to give a slightly worrying update in a recent interview.

“For the past couple of days, no one really knew which direction this was going to turn, and her family was preparing for the worst,” the relative shared.

They added how the family feared the worst. “That is why it was kept a secret since Saturday.

“Everyone believed that we may lose her, and that has been the reality of the situation.”

Thankfully, Madonna’s condition is said to have improved, though her planned upcoming tour, The Celebration Tour, has been postponed.

The finer details of Madonna’s issue – including what might have caused it – are not known, but as per Metro, the star took to Instagram a week ago with what’s been described as an eerie post given the circumstances.

The post contained a number of pictures of Madonna rehearsing, along with the caption: “The Calm Before The Storm……….“.

Madonna’s aforementioned tour was due to kick off in Vancouver on July 15, with the Like a Virgin hitmaker reportedly hard at work getting herself ready. Indeed, one of the major talking points online has been whether the singer was working too hard.

After her admission to the ICU, her manager’s statement read:

“At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.

“We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.

Here’s to praying that Madonna can make a full recovery. She’s one of the all-time icons of the music industry, and I look forward to her producing and performing in the future.
