Man who licked toilet bowl as part of ‘coronavirus challenge’ in hospital fighting for his life

A man who filmed himself taking part in the ‘coronavirus challenge’ – wherein people lick objects in public places – is now in hospital fighting for his life, according to reports.

As per the Daily Mirror, the man had filmed himself placing his mouth around the bowl of the toilet and licking the surface. He later uploaded the content to TikTok, with the Mirror confirming he has contracted coronavirus.

The “coronavirus challenge” sees people sharing clips of themselves licking objets in public places – highly irresponsible behavior given the current state of the world.

A TikTok ‘influencer’ is believed to have started the dangerous new trend after licking an airplane toilet seat.

The woman reportedly told Metro : “I was tired of that b***h corona getting more publicity than ME. I’m the real celebrity.”

Other copycat videos have seen a man licking a pole on public transport and another man licking a public toilet seat.

Needless to say, such challenges will only aid the spread of coronavirus, which has already seen some 438,000 cases globally, resulting in over 19,000 deaths.

What would drive someone to take part in such an idiotic challenge simply for five seconds of perceived fame is beyond me.

In such troubling times we must all stick together and refrain from contributing to the spread of coronavirus with moronic behavior.
