These days it doesn’t take much searching online to find examples of individuals who have taken cosmetic surgery too far.
In the modern world it’s all too easy – if often expensive – for one to alter their appearance through surgery. Gone is the time wherein piercings, tattoos or flamboyant hairstyles were the ways in which people dissatisfied with their appearance aimed to shake things up, replaced by a somewhat alarming trend that sees men and women undergoing surgical procedures to acquire a new look.
Over the past few years we’ve seen many examples of individuals pushing the boundaries of what’s ‘normal – and sometimes safe – in a bid to achieve a desired image, but we’ve never seen anything quite like Ukrainian model Anastasiia Pokreshchuk.
According to reports, she’s widely known for the distinction of having the “world’s biggest cheeks”, and the images she posts to Instagram are divisive to say the least…
When I was young there were many ways in which a person’s creative flair might be expressed through the manner they chose to present themselves to the world; eye-catching fashion decisions, larger-than-life hairstyles, and questionable body ink were commonplace.
Anastasiia Pokreshchuk, a model from Ukraine, has taken things a tad further after forking out thousands on filler and surgery.
Thanks to her unique and unapologetic approach to cosmetic surgery, Anastasiia has amassed quite the following on social media, boasting over 179,000 followers on Instagram.
Many there celebrate the 34-year-old’s bold look, while others are less convinced.
In one recent post, Anastasiia appeared with bright blue hair, flaunting her sharp jaw and excessively full cheeks, telling fans that she was attempting a “serious look”.
Yet while there were plenty of people in the comments field who seemed to like her post, there were those who called the model out.
“Oh my god, how scary!” one person wrote in Ukrainian.
Another warned: “Don’t do this to yourself.”
A third person said: “It’s much scarier than this.”
A fourth added: “Horror I was so scared 🥶😱😰 that the phone dropped the main thing do not dream of me terrible silicone blue hair 😈👹
The controversial model herself doesn’t appear to be affected by the criticism. Earlier this year, she revealed to fans that she’d gone under the knife again for breast augmentations, while she’s also gone on record to state that her cheeks are beginning to feel small to her, implying that she might want more filler in the future.
In a recent video filmed from a hospital bed, Anastasiia told he followers: “OPERATED😍 Just what I dreamed of😍”
