Mom poses with husband in beach shot – now the world celebrates her inspiring bikini pics

Meet a mom who goes by the name Jazzy. For the longest time, she couldn’t understand why her husband could possibly love her body. That’s because she thought she was overweight and felt her husband was out of her league because of his good looks.

One remarkable Instagram post however changed everything – and now Jazzy is being celebrated globally for her significant and inspiring pictures, according to Huffington Post.

Jasmine “Jazzy” Owens is a wife and mother of two who works fulltime. She also happens to be a recently turned Instagram star.

By showing off her body, she’s now confronting the unrealistic body ideals set by the media and spread throughout social media sites.

On Friday, she uploaded a picture of herself and her husband of six years, Keenan. In the caption, she wrote about her experiences of being married to someone with a different body type. She wrote that Keenan was “born fit” – and how she on the other hand struggled for years to try to accept her own figure.

In today’s society, it’s not easy living up to what is perceived as “perfect” based on all the pictures we are constantly subjected to.

“Over the years this man has loved every curve, every roll, and every stretch mark on my body,” she wrote below the popular Instagram post. “I never understood why! How could he love something that isn’t ‘perfect?’ How could a man who was ‘born fit’ love someone like me!”

Jazzy has now learnt to embrace her own body – and her confidence has grown because of it.

“I don’t have a flat stomach, I jiggle when I walk, hell if I run up the stairs too fast my body claps (lmao)!!” she continues. “But now I see I do have the ‘perfect’ body!! Every roll, every curve and every stretch mark is put on me just perfect to make both of us happy!!! I love my body and I finally see why he does too!!”

Jazzy describes her struggle throughout the years:

“Over the years my negative body image has held me back from enjoying life with my husband and kids and I was finally fed up with hiding from the world,” she says. “As one of my [Instagram] posts said, I stood in the mirror and truly looked at myself. Before I couldn’t even stand to see myself, so to be able to get naked and stand in front of the mirror and just look at my body was a huge first step for me. Since then, I have made steps such as buying my first two-piece bathing suit, wearing it to the pool and to the beach and learning to stop judging myself.”

In a separate Instagram post, the mother declares her deep love for her husband.

“Never do I think I have to explain myself to anyone but I just have to say this man stole my heart 14 years ago and still today he love me!! ALL OF ME!!! Now that I truly love myself I can enjoy life with my amazing husband and kids.”

Her posts have now received world-wide attention, with the beach post reaching 70,000 likes.

Jazzy’s story has resonated with a lot of people.

“I also have a very fit husband, and I’ve always been very insecure about it, especially when meeting all of his fitness friends for the first time…I know he loves me and my curves, and I’m slowly accepting myself for all that I am! Thanks for the wise words!,” writes one woman in the comments under the picture.
