The loss of a loved one is never easy to take, the loss of multiple family members at the same time a pain that few can imagine.
Now try to put yourself in the shoes of one who has experienced the devastation of relatives passing at Christmas time, when the only emotions that one should be feeling are those of love and joy.
A young Arizona couple tragically died last week while enroute to inform family members that they were pregnant, according to shocking reports.
Just days before Christmas Day – December 20, 2023 – Parker and Chloe Stott were driving to Arizona from Utah when their vehicle was involved in a head-on crash with a semi-truck.
Sadly, Parker and Chloe were both killed in the collision, as well as their unborn baby. Reports state that the young couple were actually on the way to break the news about their pregnancy to family members.
On December 22, two days after the crash, pages were created on Facebook and Instagram to tell the pair’s sorrowful story.
It outlined how the Stott’s were traveling to Utah to visit family for the holiday season when they were struck head-on by a truck-tractor hauling a trailer. Chloe was pronounced dead at the scene, while Parker was airlifted to Phoenix’s Valleywise hospital.
There, he sadly succumbed to his extensive injuries, despite the best efforts of medical professionals.
The Facebook page made in the aftermath of the Stott’s accident read: “Early this morning, Parker went in for his 3rd surgery to do some clean up on his burns, as well as start on some skin grafting for his leg.
At the completion of the surgery, the surgeons delivered the news that Parker’s injuries were even more extensive than what we were already aware of and the outlook was extremely bleak.
A few hours later, we received the update that Parker’s vitals were dropping and he was going fast. We gather around him as a family, kissed him, hugged him, held his hand, told him just how much we loved him and how proud we were of him. He is the strongest person and has fought so hard.
At 6:47pm, Parker grew his angel wings to fly him to Heaven to be with his sweet love Chloe and their baby. He also was warmly welcomed by his father-in-law Sheldon, who he will finally get that chance to meet for the first time.
“As deeply saddened as we are to loose Parker, who had such a positive impact on so many people’s lives and brought us all so much happiness here on Earth, we are so thankful for God’s mercy that he gets to be with Chloe and relieved from all this pain. We know they are in a better place and get to be together. We know they will be watching over us, cheering us all on until we get to reunite with them again. We love you forever Chloe & Parker.”
We can only imagine the grief endured by Chloe and Parker’s loved ones. To lose three family members in such a way is so terribly cruel.
