Santa Claus goes to visit sick kids in hospital – caught praying to Jesus after

There’s a reason Christmas time is probably the most popular holiday of them all. Every year it provides the world with magic, happiness and festive joy, no matter where you are in the world.

For children bedridden in hospital, that’s no easy task. Having a son or daughter in hospital for Christmas must be a trying experience, which is why moms and dads at one hospital in Texas were given quite the surprise when Santa showed up!

The man with the big beard visited sick kids and spent time with them on the ward, hoping to life their spirits and give them a distraction from their illnesses.

Of course, the children themselves had no way of knowing this particular Santa would go above and beyond.

Mariana Whitley Tumlinson, director at the hospital, wrote in a post on Facebook in 2018: “I keep getting choked up with this photo. Today, after Santa visited our patients and was on his way out, he noticed our Chapel.

“I, of course, said yes. I didn’t walk in with him right away but when I did I was so moved by this image I had to capture it.”

That’s right; when Santa had visited the children, he got down on his knees and prayed to Jesus for them, too.

“What a great reminder of the reason for the season. #reasonfortheseason #myfavoritesanta.”
