If you snore, it might not bother you much. It probably doesn’t wake you up, and you might not even know you snore until you start sleeping in the same bed as someone else.
But for that other person, nights can be a living hell.
Snoring usually affects people who are overweight, stressed out, have drunk too much alcohol, or have blocked nasal passageways.
It’s often said that there are two types of snoring: social and medical. Social snoring isn’t considered immediately dangerous, while medical snoring should be checked out.
Sometimes snoring is just a matter of having a little mucus in the nose or throat. And in that case, there’s a forgotten trick that might be worth testing.
Many people have seen positive results with this delicious, all-natural “anti-snoring” juice.
What you need:
* 2 apples
* 2 carrots
* 1/4 lemon
* Fresh ginger
Lemon juice contains a lot of vitamin C, which can alleviate a runny, irritated nose.
Ginger has been used in China for over 2,000 years to cure various diseases and clear air passages.
Apples and carrots contain a lot of an amino acid called tryptophan, which is calming and makes it easier to sleep.
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender (or juicer) and make a smoothie. Drink a few hours before going to bed.
Sleeping next to a snorer can be really annoying. So for the sake of others, it wouldn’t hurt to try this out. At worst, you’ll be enjoying a nutritious smoothie.
