He Cuts Holes Into A Popcorn Bag With A Knife. But Wait Till You See Inside. Delicious!

Few things are as good as opening up a bag of popcorn in front of the TV. I love putting on a good movie on a Friday night and curling up under a blanket with plenty of salty snacks in a large bowl in front of me. Sometimes, if I’m really hungry, I’ll add a knob of butter to make it extra good. Yes, popcorn may be one of the easiest things you can ‘cook’ at home, all you need is a microwave that works. But there are some parts of it that have always irritated me.

Number one: I often burn myself when I open the bag, due to the scorching hot air that comes out. Two: there are always lots of unpopped kernels at the bottom, which can be incredibly annoying if accidentally biting onto while engrossed in your movie. And sometimes, it’s difficult to find just the flavor you’d like to have in your popcorn.

Well, this guy has found five smart ways to fix his popcorn, all solving the previous problems that I mentioned. The easiest trick he shows is perhaps how to transform your bag of popcorn into a bowl. This tip was my favorite, so I’ll definitely be testing it out tonight!

Here’s a quick tutorial:

1. First, he cuts a hole in the popcorn bag with a sharp knife.

2. Then he carefully inserts a piece of butter into the package.

3. Then he does what I love best: he seasons the popcorn with a bacon/cheddar mix that will blend in with the popcorn as it pops away in the microwave. Genius!

4. Finally, he seals the bag with a piece of tape so that it doesn’t burst during cooking.
