How to cure your toothache with two simple ingredients

Toothaches can be a real nightmare.

The cause behind every toothache is of course very individual – but what’s for sure is that they are always horrible.

Seeing a dentist right away may not be an option for a variety of reasons. It may be the weekend, too much of a long wait, or you simply prefer to wait out your visit by a few more days.

Fortunately, there are some old, proven home remedies that you can try to relieve the pain. Here’s one that is known to be helpful, so I think that it is definitely worth a try.

The cause behind sudden toothaches varies. Some possible causes are:

* Cavities
* Periodontals
* Wisdom teeth growth
* Deep repairs
* Defective fillings
* Cracks in the tooth

Toothaches are likely one of the worst kind of pains that can be experienced, but you need not do not feel completely helpless if you have one. Instead, try this simple trick to help temporarily ease the pain.

Obviously, this “aid” is not meant to replace a visit to the dentist, but it can ease the pain and that can go a long way!

What you need:

* 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
* 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil

How-to:

Cloves contain eugenol, a natural pain reliever. Eugenol is also an antiseptic and local anesthetic used by dentists to alleviate dental problems.

Natural coconut oil contains capric acid and lauric acid, proven to fight both viral and bacterial inhibitions.

Mix the two ingredients into a liquid and pour into a bowl.

Using a Q-tip, soak up some of the mixture and roll onto your aching tooth. In order to achieve optimal effect, repeat the procedure three times a day.

Simple, right? Your teeth will in any case thank you afterwards…

I’m so glad to learn that if I ever come across the pain from hell that are toothaches, and am not able to see a dentist right away, I can just head to my own pantry. Many of us already have these two ingredients at home, and so we have nothing to lose by testing this out.

The least we can do then is share this tip on Facebook with everyone we know, so that more people can discover it and remember to give it a shot the next time they encounter a terrible toothache!
