Here’s a fun story out of Liverpool, UK, after a man ended up at the pub with some friends. After sharing a few “Christmas pints” with his buddies, he faced a dilemma: getting home. His car was parked just outside the pub, but he did the right thing, and did not drive home. Instead, he left his sense of humor for the parking ticket officer to later discover…
The man knew the risks of getting a parking ticket were quite high, as he happened to be parked near an official ticket office, so he decided to write a daring note which he then set on his car’s dashboard.
The note reads:
“Dear MR/S Traffic warden,
I will be at my car by 10:30am… Promise!
Please do not book me, I had a Christmas pint with the lads and didn’t want to drink and drive, here is a packet of crisps on me!!!
Happy Christmas!!!”
The man’s humour goes even further. He wants to make sure the warden gets the designated chips, and no one else, so he adds this hilarious line:
“If you are not the traffic warden please don’t rob the crisps… Don’t be that guy… No one likes that guy!””
Here’s the original note:
I think this man’s note tells a great story that is well worth sharing. Everyone needs a little Christmas cheer, even parking police!
