She Is Just 15, But Her Voice Has The Jury On Their Feet.

US talent show The Voice showcases “blind” auditions. This means that the jury sits facing away from the artist and the audience. They thus have no idea who is singing, or how the person looks. They don’t even know the person’s age or even their gender. In this clip, one such ‘anonymous’ person gets on stage and begins singing Peggy Lee’s classic 1959 “Fever”, which has featured, among other things, in numerous movies. The music starts. The judges immediately recognize the song. And just 7 words in, Gwen Stefani, famous artist and songwriter and member of The Voice jury, pressed the ‘yes’ button and spins around on her chair. That’s when she sees 15-year-old Siahna. A talent beyond ordinary.
